There is NO such thing.
I'm so sick of hearing every Tom, Dick, Jane and Harry trying to sell you THE BEST diet, because it was the diet that worked for THEM.

Listen to what YOUR body tells you about what you eat. If what you're eating makes you feel like crap afterward - nauseous, sluggish, heartburn, indigestion etc. then you're not eating the right food.
When you're eating the right food, you will feel vital and vibrant. Full of energy. You will poop several times a day.

I like how you added a vague quote at the end that's basically telling people what you're saying people shouldn't be telling people.

I like to think of that quote as open to interpretation based on one's tastes and constitution.
It's saying that regardless of whether you're a carnivore, omnivore, vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, or something in between - the bulk of your diet and each meal should be plants.
If there's one thing that's universal as far as nutrition is concerned it's that.
A person who only eats meat, cheese and starches like rice, noodles and potatoes is doing about as well as a vegetarian who only eats bread/starch and cheese.

I have never followed a diet, your words mean nothing to me.

Could not agree more! This is a major bugbear of mine too.
Last night my housemate made risotto and I felt really sick afterwards, yet he was fine. He mentioned I'd felt sick in the past before after meals that he's put shitloads of tarragon in. Ergo, not everyone can tolerate the same things!!!
It's so narrow minded to think that everyone is the same when it comes to nutrition. Humans are so diverse.
