Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback of all time. He's a straight up
GO PACKERS! (I'm also somewhat of a Vikings fan, living in MN and all... LOL)

Best, not the greatest. A-Rod is the BOAT, not the GOAT.

He plays the game like nobody has ever played before.
It's his ability to go through the progressions of receivers and not only pick the right one to throw to, but to get it there accurately and around/through the defenders.... All while often doing so on the run. That's amazing the way he's able to do that.
For instance, his "2nd hail mary" against Arizona in the playoffs last year, rolling out to his left, on the run, and launching that fucker to the endzone. Just

Do you think Rodgers is a better quarterback than Brett Favre was? I loved watching Favre. I would have to say Rodgers, as he's only 33, and has the potential to accomplish so much more before his career is over.

I think he's a much better QB, by far!
Favre was fun to watch, of course, but AR is just amazing in his talent.

Farvre was an amazing competitor, incredibly durable, and a gunslinger. Rodgers is a much more precise passer. Rodgers has a chance to move his legacy ahead in the next couple weeks if he wins a second SB.
Farve set all time records for TD passes and yards, later surpassed by Manning. Farve won 3 consecutive MVP awards. I believe Rodgers now has 2.
They are both in the running for top 5 QBs all time, but Rodgers still has some career ahead of him.

I guess we all have our opinions...

This is how I feel about him. Yes, Manning is the all-time leader in yards and TD (I think) with Favre close behind, and while Manning had 2 superstar WRs in Harrison and Wayne (and my boy Dallas "no gloves" Clark) he is still probably THE most cerebral, accurate, QB to get it done. I'm younger so I never saw Marino or Montana (etc) play, but I know they were good too. Football has changed and it's most of a passing league now, so the newer quarterbacks with higher numbers don't NECESSARILY mean they're better - they just throw the ball more often. Regardless, some of the elite quarterbacks these days are among the GOATS.
My breakdown of the best of the modern quarterbacks is: Brady - just a goddamn winner. Period. He has all the intangibles and just gets things done. In that regard, he may be the greatest (like I said I never saw Montana play, but he had a bunch of rings too, so I imagine Brady is like the modern Montana). Manning - Maybe the greatest pure pocket passer of all time. Extremely smart. Not as many rings, but you can't deny the legend of Manning, and I think his stats (most of which are #1 all time) speak for themselves. Brees - One of the most underrated QBs of our time. His numbers are in the top 3 I think in most categories, and for a shorter QB, what he's able to do is incredible. Only 1 ring, but that was back when they had a defense. Recently, their defense sucks. Much better QB than most people seem to give him credit for. and finally, RODGERS! - Is he perfect? No. Superhuman? Not quite. But can he do things that I've never seen any other quarterback do on a consistent basis? Yes. I don't mean this to be racist, but typically black quarterbacks thrive due to their mobility. They're like quick running backs that can throw (Vick) or strong running backs that can throw (Newton, though I give Newton credit I think he's a legitimately decent passer). Rodgers might not run a 4.4, though it's probably somewhat close, but he is a very mobile quarterback, but he always scrambles to buy time to find an open receiver instead of just running the ball. H is incredibily accurate throwing on the run, in both directions, and I feel he's the only kind of guy that after a bad start to the season says "I really think we can run the table." And guess what, he did, up until Atlanta, a Super Bowl team, with the #1 offense going up against a horribly banged up Packer defense. Rodgers didn't have his greatest game, but he still played well, and some costly errors took them out of the game. Rodgers is a master in the red zone, and early in the game they ran the ball to the full back for a nice gain but he fumbled the ball at the 10 yard line. Earlier in the game, the Packers had a chance to get some points on a 41 yard field goal, which is relatively easy for a good kicker, especially indoors, and he missed. He truly had an amazing run and put the team on his back, and when the run started nobody thought the Packers would even make the playoffs, let alone make it to the NFC championship game undefeated since he made the call. That's like Babe Ruth type stuff right there, calling his shots. He's completed 3 Hail Marys in 2 years, which I don't think any other quarterback even has one (well, Dalton hit AJ Green on a Hail Mary, but that was against the Browns, lol). To sum it up, whether you think he's the best of all time or not is your opinion - like I said, I never got a chance to watch some of the old timers. My dad thinks Marino was one of the best ever, and he never won a ring at all. GOAT or not, there has never been a QB that has played the game quite like he does, and that's why he's my favorite QB. I was born in Iowa and am a Hawkeye fan first and foremost, but I still love pro football, I just don't have a favorite team as much. I just love watching pro football at the highest level, and Rodgers is that guy IMO. I'm gonna start calling Hail Marys Hail Rodgers lol (jk).
