Abortion woes
    #24012368 - 01/15/17 02:53 PM (7 years, 15 days ago)

The fuzz is half way up the stem. Seems excessively high

My abort rate has been high since I've upgraded from the small to the large greenhouse.

I'm also seeing a lot of fuzz on my kings. I've been fighting gnats from a roommate's plant. Got misquote dunks in my ultrasonic resivor and mosquito bits in a hair spray bottle.

I've had uneven humidity so I've gone from one horizontal pipe to three. I added the third last bigot. I'm hopping this fixed my large abort issue. It could also be direct air on the mushrooms blocks from the pipe. Some are not drilled horizontally and are at an angle.

What is causing this fuzzing?

Any input before I modify this greenhouse more?

Fuzzing is most likely caused by RH being to high. It's my experience that kings do not need the high humidity that other oysters like.

Cool, dropped the rh a little and added an exhaust fan and stopped misting.

:whathesaid:  Kings are quite a bit different when fruiting, they are natural ground growers. They love rain and wet subs.
