Using jars half colonized?
    #24011318 - 01/15/17 05:46 AM (7 years, 15 days ago)

I have this jar of Ecuador cubensis that I have accidentally overfilled meaning that I can't shake it up easily or at all.  It has been colonizing for 20 days.
The bits that are colonised are sweating and looking eager to go into coco.

Am I right to scoop out the bits that are colonised and re-sterilise the grain that is uncolonised for use in another jar?  Will a couple of uncolonised grains in the monotub be too much of a potential contamination issue or should I wait for the whole lot to colonise?

Thanks guys

Leave it...Let it finish..If its sweating it might be too hot or too close to the heat source.

Okay, thanks for that.  It has been pretty warm here.
Cheers
