Galerina .....Something? ID please
    #24008351 - 01/13/17 10:02 PM (7 years, 1 month ago)

Was out hunting the last of a weak flush of brown tree oysters before the big freeze last week and came across these guys.
Found on well rotted hardwood near a creek in a forested area in Upstate South Carolina.

Autumnalis?  Marginata?
Any ID Help would be welcome.

They are one and the same, and yes, these are they.  Those are they?  They are these?  These are them.

All of these are correct except the last one, which is wrong because it's a predicate nominative, and thus the subjective form of the word must be used ("them" is the objective form of "they"). Any form of the verb "to be" makes each of its subjects equal, which is why the subjective form should be used).

And yes, trying to inflate my ego with intelligent-sounding but rather pointless posts on the internet is actually one of my hobbies- thanks for asking (:0

I guess I've gorgeous some more studying to do.  I didn't realize the names were synonymous.
Got to get it figured out before I release my captive Cyanescens and Subaeruginosa into the wild.  To this novice, there is some similarity.
Thanks again everyone!

Aaaaannd Groo's smiley above is cool as hell!

Quite alright. Because if you're on this forum then your ego probably gets deflated from time to time as well.
