Okay I got the oster blender and blender attachment. I wanna get a mason jar that will fit it. I should get a 1.5 pint (24oz) mason jar?

i prefer spaghetti sauce jars for LI, like the one shown in this pic (yea its grains i just dont have a pic with LI in one handy) they are skinny and easier to hold in the SAB than quart jars

looks easier to pour out measured amounts too. its tricky with a quart of water.

how do you get away with that? how long can you let them sit before inoculation without a filter?

the lids are loosened for ge. i dont let them sit so idk. they get nocced when they are cool to the touch.

I would imagine that's the only way to succeed without a filter. do you only use single piece lids?

My band was probably warped. But it was a pain. It contammed the only times I used it. Much less problems with the new method.
