First grow and fruiting successfully

I am practicing the PF tek utilizing a SGFC. My cakes are successfully fruiting all over and everything is going great. I have been fanning to promote FAE and misting as necessary. However, I am going out of town tonight and won't return until late Saturday night. Will the cakes be okay with my absence or is there some kind of precaution I can take? Any help would be much appreciated. By the way, my cakes already appear to be somewhat on the dry side, although I mist and fan regularly.

From the first moment I saw hyphal knots till now I'd say it's been about 2 and 1/2 days. They are all about an inch in length at most with some only slightly shorter.

I'm minutes from leaving. I just misted them pretty heavily and gave a quick, strong fanning. I don't feel good about it either, but don't have much of a choice. Oh well, hope all will be well. Thanks for the input man, you gave me some peace of mind!

About 3-7 days from pins.
Btw. Fanning is done to trigger evaporation after you've misted. I fan/mist till glisten/fan. It should be more like a scoop and a wave of the lid and put it back on. The sgfc does the rest.
Just mist before you leave. They'll be fine.

Thanks for the info. That makes me feel a lot better. I actually made arrangements to be home tomorrow afternoon so I'm tons more comfortable with the situation now!

Sounds good! And don't forget it's OK to mist pins, but after a certain point just let them do their thing... pretty much right around now or the next few days.
They've got plenty of water in their network to do their thing, and plenty of water in the air. You don't want to mist fruits or they end up soggy and less potent.

Appreciate the heads up.. seriously. That question would have came to mind in the days to come. I've been so surgical during this grow that I thought it would be overbearing and ruin the results. Turns out its appropriate.
