Like hacked or something, or someone is just using it for stuff.
Mine might be, for awhile I would check my email and see random spam opened that I didn't remember clicking on and would t usually open anyways... Haven't noticed anything too suspicious though so I stopped worrying.

Well Yahoo was breached. Haven't figured out how to change my security questions. I did change the password thou. I can't imagine anyone getting in it without resetting the password. Maybe a keylogger or something. How can I check?

I discovered a really fucked up issue with email. I had a Comcast email account that came with their ISP service. When I switched to Fios. I lost access to the account. Well, comcast doesn't just close the email account, they release the account name so it is available to use again. if someone wanted to, they could select your old email name and get all your emails.
This isn't a theory. I did this. My friend has comcast, and through his account I set up another email address with my old user name. Sure enough, I had access to all my emails,

I don't plan to get rid of the email, but I would feel more comfortable if I could change the security questions. As far as I know, it's just a spam email with a possible attack link if clicked on. That's just a guess thou. Someone suggested that maybe a bitcoin site was recently compromised. I've only bought Bitcoins once and the sites were localcoins and blockchain. Idk how else someone would have my email. On the exchange site , user had me accept a friend request on Facebook for verification. That could be a way my email was taken, however I'm not suspicious of the person I did the exchange with. Also, have gotten request from random out of state people on Facebook. I was assuming these people were from social media groups like shroomery, other similar groups ECT. I was slightly suspicious of one friend request cause lady and her friends didn't seem like people I care to know. All speculation thou

pretty much the rule is, if you don't know them and they're asking to to open something, go somewhere, click this, it's a scam.

That's bizarre I can't believe they recycle email addys, and save emails on top of that. Major oversight.

It worked out week for me, I had an account that I was locked out of and the only way to restore it was fr them to send a new password to that comcast account. I tried it on a whim, and it work.

Perhaps, but I would wager not. There's alot of tracking and adware/scamware about, but btc are also just somewhat popular currency now too. We'd all like to know how telemarketers get our number, but they don't release that info. You have nothing to be concerned about, unless you make the mistake of trusting someone you don't know. Just don't pay it any mind.
