I don't disagree with this at all. I would, however, like for the vendor to at least reply to emails about a live culture syringe (this was an edible species, not an active) that has visible green growth in it. A contaminated syringe I can live with... the level of customer service shown by not replying to inquiries is another thing.
Even if they had replied with a quick "sorry, but that's a chance you take" I'd have been happier with them. Radio silence? Not so much.

Stop looking through old materials then.. A lot of them are inactive for a reason. There's plenty of reason to post here. If you only read old materials you're going to be a lot more likely to be working under disproven assumptions that were common ~10 years ago. I highly recommend looking primarily at things that are being done right now, the people here are driving this hobby forward with impressive momentum.
also wouldnt a member here for years have more than 1 post and a join date that not 3 months old?
Yeah i lost the password of my old account so i had to rejoin but i never really posted thant often anyways i was more of a experimenter over the years i always looked to try thing people said could never work and figure out a way to make them work with usually the same amount of success as the original poster but with all that experimenting ajd failure i learned alot and have a pretty good understanding of mycology for it im at the point that during the summer months i was growing any and all mushrooms i could find around me

Hey,@mrmazdarx9 it says you're too high at 9pm UK time. Also see you've got peyote. Is it difficult to keep alive in these parts? I'm in Ireland.
Also, do ye know if the special shroomery market have giveaways in Europe too or is it just within the U.S? Cheers!
