Yes. I make no less than 5 plates with spores. Usually more like 10

haha nice i just found your agar posts from another thread and read thru it. im starting to understand, please correct me if im wrong: some plates will be good, some will be bad. but we isolate good myc from the bad plates and transfer that to a new plate. would this process be the same for questionable LC? (did the cardinal foul of going spores-LC, gonna agar test on those too!)
either way, sounds like im making a bunch of plates

If you went spores to lc dont even bother testing, just make lc with a clean agar wedge instead.

I find testing lc with agar to be the most fun thing in this hobby. You only really need to test on two plates. 9 times out of ten its bacterial anyway. The realy fun is wacthing a hole plate of agar change form plan clear or food color green to purple, red, trich white then green, black, orange, or sebert. Once its that color there no saving it so dump in your neighbors mailbox.
Im all honestly there really is nothing like testing lc on a plate and plate be clean and colonized in two days
