Tobacco, missing the flavor

I abuse tobacco. Pipe smoker here. First smoke was a cig, but first hooked was pretty much a pipe. It's gotten bad over the years. Purely a terrible psycological addiction. I get no aroma, flavor or good feeling from tobacco.
I miss the flavor and think that's a sure sign of abuse. I have zero experience slowing down to get flavor back. I have some cuban small cigerello type smokes. Sometimes a cigar brings a flavor and a difference. But to smoke just to get that rich addictive nearly crack like flavor, each time would be nice.
Do you get flavor when you smoke? How much or as of now little would i smoke for that?
I miss smoking tasty weed and hash. Never really loses flavor and made tobacco better sometimes. Been smoking cheap "good stuff" tobacco. About a pound and 6 ounces to a pound and three quarters a month. Clean my pipe two times a day. I think my senses and awareness regarding tobacco need some clense. I find tobacco a visionary drug, but it's complicated with my western introduction.
First thing i do when i wake up is piss, then smoke. I feel awful til my cup of joe and a least 2 or 3 pipes. Every break i get i smoke for addiction ritual. I eat, i smoke. Get hungery, i smoke. Bust a nut or finish a drink, i smoke. Stressed or happy i smoke!

Cigarettes suck, I smoke those due to addiction. Vaping I enjoy, I do that for pleasure. Tobacco can be a slippery slope.

I am biased.
Kick the leaf. Vape is better. With old school leaf tobacco, your sense of smell is just...gone. With vape, it's muted, but it's there. Same nic either way, and vape fulfills the smoking ritual of inhale, exhale so much better than a patch or a gum ever could.
With a vape, you can go literally any direction for flavor. Cotton candy, Turkish tobacco, 5-gum-commercial-levels of cold mint, a deep plum wine, and I'm sure someone's working on a steak flavor somewhere.
I won't say it's healthy. It isn't. Inhaling shit into your lungs is not healthy, whether it is vape, cig, weed, meth, crack, opium, or air in general. Nothing of this sort is ever healthy, no matter how natural it is. Being unhealthy is also pretty natural. But I, with absolutely no valid qualification backing my word besides my (figment of your computer's imagination's) personal experience, can say that it feels a whole lot more healthy than leaf.

Oh yeah without a doubt.. what I like most about vape is the clean cerebral feel of straight nicotiene. What I 'crave' and has me addicted about cigarettes is the dirty body feel from all the other shit in them. My cigarette consumption is pretty much down to those ones that always counted, first one in the morning, after eating..I'm on a dry spell, but after sex.. those ones that are universally mandatory no matter which smoker you talk to. It's gotten back to the point where when I smell smoke on someone else or in a car someone smokes in it smells like ass. Flavor and sense of smell have gradually come back.
I can live with vaping, but I can tell cigarettes are bad news.

I abuse tobacco. RYO cigarettes at the moment and for quite a while. Smoked a fancy cherry-wood pipe for quite a while but split the shank/mortise banging it out while drunk.
I have very little sense of smell due to getting punched-in-the-face in 2007. Progressing to a 5-year-duration constant sinus infection.
I could taste aromatic pipe tobaccos somewhat when I was smoking a pipe, that was very nice.
Now I'm just all about the nicotine hit and American Spirit tobacco.

Only smoked 2 pipes so far today. 1 pint coffee and working on my second. Usually i smoke at every urge. So trying to skip some.
I smoked ryo american spirits for years. Last time i bought a cheap pack of smokes i threw out nearly the whole pack. Most god awful chem shit i ever smoked. Worse than crack!
Been coughing up stuff today. Gotta go do work at the farm and feel not so rushed. Taking my time cause i gotta eat but want to feel with it driving.
Slowed down a lot since summer. Smoked nearly 2 pounds a month during peak heat. I get the fear sometimes and last summer sorta sucked for that.
Tobacco is like my pep pill comfort all. But it deffinately loses magic over using it. Had to stop cold turkey before being locked up. So i sorta see tobacco as exercising freedom.

I'm so addicted to nicotine I don't care as long as I'm not paying for it. I got addicted to cigarettes living at my grandparents whom were both chain-smokers buying mail-order cigarettes from native-Americans before the USA made it illegal to send cigarette tobacco through the mail.

When I first started smoking I was smoking burley pipe tobacco in Zig-Zags, coughed stuff up then. Then I save my snipes and smoke those re-rolled or in a Meerschaum when I run out rarely, cough stuff up then.

I smoke at least 5.29oz of Spirit a month. This month I'm already into my second 5.29oz but I was sharing with four people I had over for a week.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Bill Hicks' bits on smoking. Tobacco used to give me this huge euphoria on taking a hit for a time, long after starting using it regularly. (similar to when one first starts intaking nicotine). I really need to stop drinking, but don't see myself doing that without smoking for quite a while after.

Under 6oz a month isn't bad.
Smoked 7 pipes. It's 4:30 and had 600 calories. It's brew night (cutting back on all things) thinking 2 2oz copper lagger. Got some free pizza in the fridge!
I probably smoke around 20 pipes a day. It's a work day and 7 pipes is ok. Could of smokd less maybe but gotta keep motivated and clear headed as possible. Finally feel some discipline.
Smoking has always had a powerful grup on me. Dad was a heavy smoker and heavy drinker. He died at 56 so i never expected power to live long. His oarents also smoked and drank. Neither saw 80 but that is still really good with their lifestyle. I weigh my food like dad's mom did. She had diabetes as did dad.

When you stop smoking leaf, or significantly cut back, you will start coughing shit up. That's because some of the stuff in leaf smoke (and some of the stuff commonly added to it...menthol.) paralyzes the throat muscles somewhat, and allows stuff to build up. When you cut back and the muscles wake up, they suddenly decide to clear the crud out, and usually produce some extra mucus.
