Yeah but are they really underrated? I mean they're world touring musicians with countless fans in every country with decent cultural access to the western world :0...
But yeah maybe they're underrated.
Being aware of drivers in adjacent lanes on the highway is seriously fucking underrated.
Also service, in the U.S. People look at service as some lowly occupation, but that shit takes skill, patience and sensitivity. Good service is something to rejoice over.
I think Steven King, while widely read, is actually underrated as a writer. I think that guy's got a fantastic imagination and has put it to great use.

Movie: Walk hard
Actor:John c reilley.
Who's john c reiley?(not sure how he spells last name) Oh, he's the guy in all the will Ferrell movies that hardly has any lines, but they're always better than will ferrell, and he carries them better.
He's the step brother that wasn't will ferrell, and he's also dr Steve goddamn brule which brings me to my last point.
Underrated tv show: Tim and eric awesome show great job
Underrated comedian: Tim heidecker (and eric wareheim goes hand in hand with him on this, but if I'm forced to choose i think tim carries their careers a little better.)
Eric is just to weird sometimes. Edit: Ok, I'm gonna add some more here.
Music: Spacemen 3/spiritualized.
Easily the best thing to happen to psychadelic rock... ever. I'm sure most people won't rate them as highly as i personally would, but if you haven't listened to any of their music i recommend starting with "call the doctor" by spacemen 3, followed by.... I'm just gonna list a handful of spiritualized hits because i can't make up my mond for the best song to introduce with.
The first spiritualized song i ever heard was "ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space" and it's damn good.
Don't just do something is another great one.
Let it flow is probably the one i listen to the most from spiritualized.
As for spacemen (yeah I'm going backwards for a second) i would say the other best son s they got are "walming with jesus", "billy whizz blues" and "when tomorrow hits.
Edit '2 (the gritty reboot): Andy kaufman is my all time favorite comedian. I would say he's more underrated than tim heidecker, but he's been dead since the 90's. But he was a fucking genius and lived a legendary life.

I'm sorry but Steven King is trash, at one point he may have been a good author but anymore he only knows how to write one story, he has got to be the single greatest example of formulaic writing in the modern day. He spends 200 pages writing himself into a corner then cops out every time with "something magic happened and the day was saved." Again, he has wrote some decent books, but his lifelong works as a whole are mainly trash.
And as far as CBL goes, I say they are underrated because the whole genre of atmospheric ambient music is very under rated as a whole.

that's a fair point, a lot of his stories are completely repetitive and have ludicrous solutions, like how in one of his most recent novels The Dome parts 1 and 2, the day is saved by actually talking the aliens out of their bullshittery. Of course it was more in depth than that, but that's the basic gist of what happened.
But the Dark Tower Series was so fucking good that I could never consider him anything but a great, imo.
