Trying to start a Cyan colony

I pulled a few pieces of colonized wood chips from a patch that I know of and put it into a cleaned Tupperware with freshly boiled (then cooled) hickory wood chips. At this point I definitely see some mold, but also seem to see healthy mycelia. Wondering what I should do. I would like to salvage my efforts if possible.

Reminds me of when I took a cow turd with cubes growing out of it and put it in a fruiting chamber. Long story short, it didn't work. But it was worth a shot. Sorry I don't have any advice for you, just wanted to share my story.

amidogen said: Hell I'd go back to the patch and get a fruit and clone it if possible, just get the freshest piece you can. You'll have to clean anything wild up on agar for it to be viable.
I'll be there again tomorrow, there were a few less than mature fruits that I left behind. Any threads on cloning you can point me towards (in addition to the stuff linked in the general cultivation bar)? Ill definitely start digging through liloldme posts too. Thanks for the help!!
