Habitat:
Found on wood chips, under a bush, in an urban environment

Gills:
close to subdistant, adnate to subdecurrent

Stem:
3.8 cm tall, 3.8 mm thick, hollow, chalk white, fibrous, enlarged at cap and near base, adnate to seceding

Cap:
2.5 cm, hygrophanous, caramel fading to tan when dry

Spore print color:
Color blind.... seems purple brown/gray/black

Bruising:
Possible blue-green bruising on stem when handled with brown staining also.

Sorry the pics aren't better.  Old phone doesn't handle light well!

the tan one worries me, esp of that darker non-bruised stem is where the light tan cap came from.

rest definitely seem like a pos ID, gives me a lot of motivation to go hunting today! (hoping Petaluma is close to your patch, best of luck)
