arrange to meet up with the officer?
no thank you
other than that, there's good info in there.
I wouldn't bother communicating with the officer and would just write the judge instead, but that's just my trump-voting trailer livin' american tax-paying opinion.

Fucking-A. That's way too much effort. My time is worth a lot more than a ticket.

There's a lot more than just a ticket you know? Points on your record, higher insurance, they accumulate, money.
Your time isn't worth a ducks dick in the grand scheme of things, might as well treat the officer with some respect and see where it gets you.
However, I don't like the "do as he says" shit. GTFO outta here with that, protect your civil rights like an american. If he says step out of the car, don't step out of the car unless you HAVE to.
All in all the article is half common sense, half terrible advice, and weird that it's in this section of the boards

Do everything you can to keep them calm, no sudden moves or noises, kinda like a wild animal.

i was pulled over for doing 60 in a 45 and the cop asked why i was going so fast. i simply looked at him and replied "im just driving like a jackass", but i said it in a way that was sincere but also apologetic. the cop seemed to like that i acknowledged that i was driving like a jackass and could see the sincerity in my words - this is very important because police are trained to read people.
he let me off with a warning on the condition that i wouldn't speed again - and i never did afterwards. at least, not in that area of town.
each cop is different though. some just want to prevent crime, others simply want to punish.
