Cultivation fabrication : Tools of the trade

My day job involves machining things out of metal and plastic. Each day I come to work, I try to find something I can make or fabricate that could benefit the cultivating community.
I'm working on a design for a SAB for my self. All plexiglass and aluminum. One that is easily broken down for storage when not in use, Economical and can have a shelf in it.
If you have any ideas or think of something that could benefit you or the community, run it by, and we can come up with a design.

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23990888 if you can make my SAB cheaper than $14 and just as easy to hide away as this thing that also doubles as a storage bin when not in use

Describe said air flow hood. I would need sizes and purpose? And what would be a price you would be happy with. I'll figure out if its possible within a certain price range

It's what I use now. But Im a little bit OCD and the lack of clarity in the plastic bothers me. Without the lid, my tub does not sit flat down on the table, and not a huge fan of the lack of flatness when I use the lid.
Yes it works, but it's a personal comfort thing. And I promise this is not an attempt to make money. The SAB is just something I'm working on for myself, but I'm open for any ideas.

well you could find a tub that does sit nice and flat, and then cut the front of it out and put a piece of plexi or saran wrap so it's extra clear for you

Your taking the fun out of it. When I'm done building my SAB, maybe I'll gift you one to see if I can impress you.

All-prpose HEPA flowhood idk maybe 2'X 2' for around 100$ would be revolutionary i imagine.
The cheapest one on ebay from China is starting at 700$ next one is 1000$ and up to 20,000~ ebay flowhood
The main expense is a HEPA filter, which cost around 100$, so i guess it's about sourcing. Also you'll need a blower; an old one can probably be found for cheap; idk about new ones.
Here's a good diy guide i just found http://www.fungifun.org/English/Flowhood#construction

How about a device that allows adjustable humidity and temperature, that would be placed into or attached to a colonizing/fruiting chamber.

That's true but temperature can be an issue, and a slow humidity release would be good.

I wouldn't have to make those, they already exist. You can find those in green house stores and in reptile section in your pet store. Your would just have to plug and plumb a heater and humidifier.

I like the flow hood idea, finding an affordable solution to those.
The sterilizing raygun. Now we're talking!!
A collapsible dehydrator, make it modular so you have the ability to expand if you need, stackable That's actually a practical and feasible idea.
