Habitat: Wet, shaded wood-chips. East Bay Area.
Gills: Light colored. Intermediate gills. Narrowly attached to the stem.
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc. 1-2" long. <.25" in diameter. White color with blue stains. Sturdy woody texture. Hollow.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc. <2" diameter. Caramel colored cap. Getting lighter as they dry, ending the color of coffee with too much milk in it. Some have an almost pointy bump in the top of the cap, others are more smooth. Some have a very pronounced wave around their perimeter, others are more even.
Spore print color: Smoky purple
Bruising: The stems bruise blue, and the caps appear to show more of a blue-green bruising.

Fairly certain they are Ps. Cyanescens/Allenii but a second opinion never killed anyone.

Looking like P. Cyanescens for sure man, some caps are a bit round for a cyan but its not unheard of.

Maybe P.allenii/P.cyanofriscosa... due to the cap shape and lack of wavy margin.

It's pretty late in the season, in fact it's over where I'm at. That could cause strange phenotypes, I believe these to be P. Cyanescens.

My vote is P. cyanescens. Certainly Psilocybe either way.
