Seeking advice for longevity of strains

I currently have about 8 different types of gourmet and medicinal spawn growing. I have devised a system to continue production and have fruit bodies every week to sell at a local farmers market. I understand that fungi die just like any other life form, but I want to know the best way within my means to ensure this is not an issue after one season. That being said, it is not within my means to order cultures of 7 different types of mushrooms, maybe if this year goes well but let's limit this to one year.
Upon fruiting I plan on cloning from the healthiest bags to agar plates. From the agar plates I will make master slants of each, and continue inoculating grain.
Is there any reason this is flawed?
(My experience growing mushrooms is primarily based in the magical varieties.)

you want master cultures to be stored in the fridge in deep agar jars or slants. When you need a culture take it out and put it to agar. You don't want to be using fruits for tissue cultures. You can also do sterile water cultures in sealed vials.
How I store cultures, these are like 1/2 pint jars. I plan to upgrade to full pint jars since ive had issues with cultures growing to the top quickly

What I started with was plug spawn. What I now have is grain spawn. I was planning on perpetuating the cycle by doing 4 parts of each grain bag to sawdust, and a 5th part back to grain, and repeat for as long as possible. As far as grower's reply, thanks for the video, it is helpful and I will probably follow suit as much as I can in my particular circumstance, though what would you suggest to use for tissue cultures if not fruits? I could start from prints relatively easily but I don't see why I would make cultures of MS.

Make your slants. I use polypropylene 50 ml centrifuge tubes with screw lids. Place a clean plug in there and let it colonize a little and you've got masters. If your not sure if the culture is clean put plug on agar first, then to slant.

Lately I've been growing out cultures on standardized grain quantities (50 mL) and creating long-term storage vials from suspensions in distilled water.
Update: Agar wash and saline are much better.
