I don't know what to think anymore, I'm constantly hearing all these stories about people being cleansed of negative energy and there ego being destroyed . . . For me? Nothing . . .
Last night I took 10g dry liberty caps in a tea and watched Avatar, nice come up, nothing to special, as I started getting deeper into the movie, some slight visuals began to happen, like the wall turning a little darer and bit of swaying on the wallpaper, as I peaked, I started hearing these disturbing whispers, I thought my next door neighbors were having an argument, I looked out my window and there was no one there, It sounded like my parents were having a go at each other outside and it sounded like they were auguring over me, at some point during the peak to, I thought I could see my dads shadow in the window on the wall and it fucking terrified me I as I came down, I started getting a horrid headache and I thought I was gunna be sick. No ego death, no "enlightenment", no amazing colors are patterns in my eye lids, no peace or bliss. Just these dark thoughts and horrid whispers and voices in my head.
Is there something wrong with me?
Am I . . . Immune to mushrooms?

Sounds like you tripped to me. Its not like acid all sunshine and lolly pops.
You have to get yourself in a safe place where you know that those thoughts ie disturbances and interruptions cannot happen.
Have you been hitting the cid recently?

You definitely tripped, so you are not immune to mushrooms. And you don't just get enlightenment or ego death from taking heavy doses. First of all, you shouldn't trip at home if you live with your parents. Not a good idea. Second, give up any expectations you have about tripping. It's different every time.
It seems to me you are a little naive, psychedelics are not going to help you reach enlightenment or transcend in any manor. They allow you a glimpse, that is it. They aren't always blissful or visual, either. But it's hard to notice visuals sometimes if you are watching a movie.
How was the tea prepared? You may have messed it up and lost a lot of psilocybin in the process. 10g of tea should have had you going pretty hard. It could be a blessing in disguise for you though, you could have been real out of your gourd with your parents at home.

Yer bit of a poor name choice, but i aint spend a tenner just to change i. The last time i did any psychedelics was way before Christmas, last night I thought i was gunna be blasted of my ass into space, but no . . . Just the same old boring dark and depressing shit, I yet to trip on my cubensis which are half colonized, are cubs any different from libs?

That could be where you went wrong. What I do is bring the water to a boil, pour into a mug, take my tea bag/s let them steep for 15-20 minutes, and drink with the bags still in the mug. Squeezing them often to make sure to get all the goodies out of them.
I wouldn't suggest you take that much in the future until you get some more experience.

I've personally only had experience with subs, but by all reports, yes there is a difference between type.
Sound like your headspace may have steer this trip a little to much...if like you say you are alone and safe and can be sure of it, you need to try and remember that when shit starts getting weird.
I too occasionally get voices when tripping.

Have a good day, be happy, do some yoga, go for a hike, eat healthy and then at the end of the day before sundown throw back a few handfulls of some dried and drink em down with orange juice with some lemon juice in it. Or just lemon tek altogether. You really need to stop expecting anything specific from tripping though, because that will be your downfall. You need to just let what happens happen. The worst trips I've ever had were where I thought I knew what to expect.

LSD is vastly more euphoric than mushrooms for me anyways. But even still it's not all sunshine and lolly pops, unless you add some MDMA into the mix.

That can be extremely overwhelming and dysphoric too though. Speedyness of MDMA fucks with me on psychedelics. Mind just races a little TOO fast.

Sounds like weak libs.
10 grams of potent cubes would have u in an entire different universe altogether.
Set setting and dosage all play important roles.
Also shrooms are a wild card like LSD. No two trips are alike.
