Habitat: on the horse compost pile. Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
Gills: see photo Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Stem: hollow about 4 inches Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Spore print color: in process... Very important!
Bruising: not that I can see Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Nice! Yeah with all this rain and warmth on the central coast I had really high hopes of finding them in the compost here. Sweet and thanks for the confirm.

Rumor has it horse dung specimens may be more potent. Any blueing on the bases of your samples?
How many did the border in the background eat?

Thank you. I pulled 15 pretty decent sized ones today. They are meatier than I've ever seen. No bluing unfortunately but I have high hopes. I'll keep hitting the patch until it runs dry. More pictures to come.

Man those got junk in the trunk man. Get that water off and drying ASAP if you plan on consuming. If you have full access to the patch whenever, I would let the caps of the smaller ones go more planer before harvesting.

Yeah I'm kicking myself in the ass for not being more patient on these. I did dry them off and put right on desiccant drying setup. I'm pretty stoked on the size of these. Can't wait to see total dry weight.

Thank you thank you. I'm excited to try these horse manure growing subbs. I've only had the skinny little ones from grass areas in Massachusetts and southern NH. I've seen them here in California, but haven't grabbed any until this batch.
Just a heads up the first batch I put in to dry I did notice spots bluing at the base of the stems and one has a small spot on the cap. I'll take a photo when I get home I completely spaced it out.

OK I just found a huge haul also growing on horse manure. Let me clean and spread them out, I'll put an item in so you can see how big some of these are. All compost/manure growing subbs. Really gets my heart pumping finding these babies.

Nice find and sounds like a good dose also. I think 5g of horse dung cinctulus is like ~3g cubensis.

Knark. Thanks they are a great find. But 4 grams of these cinctulus was definitely stronger than the last cubes I had at roughly the same dose. People talk about not having visuals and ice also taken these from grass areas and not had any visuals, but these dung growing cinctulus this time were intense visuals, plus I couldn't sit still and I laughed for no reason until my face hurt numerous times. By myself mind you. Then when I wanted to go to sleep around 2am I just crashed right out. Granted I smoked a lot of weed at the end. I have to try them again, but I would probably say all in all these are more fun than cubensis in my opinion...

It's funny when you aren't expecting much and then..... WTF! WOOHOO! They seemed to kick in super fast too. Like fifteen twenty minutes tops. I hate explaining my trips because words are worthless for explaining the experience .. definitely get these babies if you can. Today I feel terrific! Super happy, super positive, a little hazy headed but probably from the weed last night. I'm working right now no issues at all just happy to be outside!

Cincts are one of 3-4 species that have it.
