I think it'd be cool if we could elect people to moderate our journals. I frequently go out of town and I occasionally have to edit a post here and there to keep my journal clean. Would be nice if I could have someone else look over it while I'm away, as returning to hundreds of posts is quite a task to skim through. Just a thought.

That's a pretty good idea but it might be technically challenging due to the way journals were hacked in to the forum's code. I'll take a look and see if I can figure out a way to accommodate this feature.

i can babysit your journal for you while you're gone. I'm probably one of very few people on here who is actually trustworthy enough. I think the majority of people on here are mentally defective, or idiots, some are seriously insane while others are just huge pieces of shit. there's a small few who are all of those things and seriously freak me out. I think a lot about how if i knew who i was conversing with I'd RUN away as fast as possible and never log on again.
im no exception, but atleast i have enough self-awareness and courage to admit i'm not all there. I know what i am tho and what i'm not... i may be crass but im no snoop, liar, thief, or dirtbag.
like I couldnt promise i'd check it every day cause i have a life.. And I cant be counted on to be consistant or even somewhat responsible. but it'd be safe with meh

It would be easier to give somebody you trust and who knows the environment your password for situations like that... Or fuckin shut it down for the days you are gone man... It would do some good for a few folks in there to not have aaw for a day or two... They might see daylight for the first time in years.

yeah aint that the truth. I thought yesterday i am spending too much time here and entered the ban lotto. I've been laid up the last couple days, even so i feel guilty sitting in front of a screen this long. I could be reading or doing something else.
some people the internet is their life. and that is seriously fucking sad

really?? oh dear.
friend you gotta get off the couch and away from the screen. there's a life out there.... things to see, places to explore. what part of earth do u live?
picture yourself an old man... sitting there in your rocking chair reflecting back on your life. The decisions you made. How you've lived. stuff you've done or havent done. Are you going regret how you dealt with problems or will you have pride you were able to overcome them? there's soooo many things you'll look back on and feel either really good about or not good about. You're going to feel like you missed out

Dude... It's 2017... My internet is in my back pocket at all times... I don't much care for interacting with people outside of my family... So in my pocket on my dope ass phone is an entire community of drug addicts, lunatics, geniuses, dirtbags, saints, college teachers, inventors, career criminals, and whatever else and when I see or experience some shit that I think one or two of these fuckers would find funny or interesting or whatever I show em... And I'm certain it was only because I was banned, but boy did I have a fuckin jam packed week of shit that I wanted to tell these fucks about... I have never once accessed this site sitting at a computer stuck somewhere... So although everything that you said was 100% true, it doesn't quite apply to my relationship with the site...
But what I do find weird as all fuckin hell is the HUGE community of people here who don't grow shrooms, have zero interest in growing shrooms, yet spend countless hours, even years, on here hanging out... It makes me want to grab em by their ears and tell them something like,

Wouldnt the easiest way to go about it be to make an AAW UC forum and have a site moderator move the thread there for you?
Then you can invite people you want to see it there and it will be completely private, you'll have mod control over it, and you can mod other users to take care of it in your absence.
