Possible alternative germination media * 1
    #23991902 - 01/08/17 09:24 AM (7 years, 22 days ago)

Its uncommon for gourmet to use spores, and more common for cubensis, so I am posting here.
I wont go into the antibacterial properties of tea, too much nay say, just google it.

However spent tea contains no starch and trace sugar, 1 - 0.5%, spent.
Regardless of the properties, bacterial contam chance is low.

The main food source is complex plant fiber carbs.

Active growers use spores more often cause we can't order a cube LC.

My mom left spent tea bags in the sink when I was a kid.
They always stank really bad.

And as you said, lots of nah on the tea idea. Just use clean spawn?

Spent tea definitely isn't antibacterial it's great in compost. We used to have hundreds of pounds or spent green tea from this one tea beer production and that shit rots like no other. And that was just steeped then added to beer so it was made just like your household cup of Green tea.

I'm sure tea has some antibacterial properties
