Copper inoculation loop..?
    #23991459 - 01/08/17 01:04 AM (7 years, 1 month ago)

I have various forms of grounding wire and messenger wires in all size gauges. Now that I'm moreso stab-wiping for culture work, these have more body to them and I can tailor them to my needs.

Copper is inherently antimicrobial but also antifungal, is it gonna make any difference for those 4 or 5 seconds? It's also more sturdy and longer which I like since it keeps my hands off my work. It doesn't get all floppy donkey dick on me.

Only benefit for me would be nothing to do with the copper but more to do with a steadier tool that I can work with easier right?

I'm able to use finer snips to make one with a small curled burr, a lot better than a fat bulky scalpel trying to cut things out.

It should work fine, the spores are not gonna be effected

I don't think so, I have several tools made from copper and had no problems.

Man I love all the ideas you just gave me! I have an infinIte supply of solid copper wire from 26awg to 4awg. I'm thinking that 22-12 should find some uses.

Thanks again
