Damn... We are (maybe) just an advanced version of Microsoft Paint and we aren't even aware of it!

I know it parallels a lot of what I've read on here and in books about psychedelics hahaha. The we are one thing most notably.

So, I would like to bring up some topics instead of just saying, cool video, I would like to discuss some of these.
Cool video!
Now, some topics that I find interesting.
The mention of the senses and how we may have more than 5 that we are not in tune with.
The idea of oneness and the subconscious, how we could be creating each other or be experiencing each other as a singular conscience.
How different life forms experience time. Just to question time and how we as humans have created time and have imposed this structure on other life forms, when time only exist to our species.
Duality. The character experiences an ego death, the screen goes white, and for the character, there no longer is a character to identify to. He then, within the paint program, begins to recreate himself and the world, placing his hand on the ground and watching the landscape fill with color. The idea or thought that we are creating the world we see, that we are always inside the box and rarely realize that we have created the world we dwell in, like the paint program, you can choose the things you want to see in life.
Waking up. The character wakes up at the end of the video and says 'I've got it, that's it.' The information download or realizations that the mushrooms provide. A life changing experience. Then there's integration, which we don't get to see but are led to believe the main character will intergrate the things he learned during the experience.
For people that have never had a psychedelic experience, some of these points will be missed or looked over and no thought will be put into some of these things. If we're going to share these things and spread the word of the benifits of psychedelics, some topics need some more light shined on them, to try and better understand the experience both for ourselves and for those around us who simply don't understand.

I also want to point out the synergy with cannabis. Most of the characters realizations come after he smokes cannabis. IME, the mushrooms alone are fairly easy to handle, even at a 5 dry gram dose. I noticed that it's not until I smoke cannabis that the profound visuals occur. Not saying they're not there without, they seem easier to manage somehow if you don't smoke cannabis.
Seeing visions and being able to understand them or put them into boxes and categorize events and experiences can be challenging. I want to believe that the things I see while under the influence of psilocybin mean something, anything. Be it a lesson to learn or whatever I make of them, I can somehow connect 'dots' to things in my life, and 'step out side the box' to see life from a different perspective. But I also realize that the things I see could very well mean nothing at all, and it's my own ego mechanism trying to make sense of everything.
One of the more significant changes has been my own personal faith. I've never really had any belief in any sort of 'God', though I've been around modern day religion, as most have some experience with, nothing ever took hold inside of me. It wasn't until I took an unknown dose of what I believe to be Penis Envy, less than an eighth, and took the initiative and intentions to let go and surrender to the experience. During this trip, I invisisoned my 'self' as a pin point of energy, as small as I could conceive, racing towards a golden light with each moment passing and every bit of distance, stripping away parts of me as if I were a fish swimming in the wrong direction of a stream. The stream I found myself in seemed to be energy in the form of this golden light. As I came closer the the source of the light, it became more and more difficult to move any closer, but still I fought and pushed until I got a glimpse. What I can only refer to as a Buddha, golden, sitting calmly, blasting all this energy out and away from him self that I precived myself pushing through. After seeing the Buddha, I gave up pushing and was immediately blasted away along with everything else, becoming part of the light, I looked around and noticed a lot of negative objects that were traveling with me, things I recognized to be harmful or distructive or just outright wrong or bad to have or be around. Since then, I've been learning about Buddhism and even though I don't really like to call my self Buddhist, I like the ideas and it has changed my outlook on the idea or thought of 'God'.
Though listening to some talks on 5meo, and the unavoidable 'non dual' state it can induce, it has me thinking of what all this stuff is around me, and if it all really is a 'part' of me, in what way. Speaking on some physics and how everything we're seeing is mostly nothing, that once you get down to the atom and beyond, we're finding there's not much there. So it makes me question, what is really going on here.
If we are all one, and the universe is created within the confines of my skull. . . Just how.
But being human, and science gives us information, our own studies into the species, a very precious gift, we know that the two sides of the brain act differently. Having the knowledge of this and coming to the realization that I, myself, tend to 'over analyze' many situations in life. The opposite is letting things flow naturally, not so much "it is what it is" attitude, but more of the vast randomness and possibilities that we find ourself so emmersed in and not really searching to any 'why' or reason.
Interesting stuff, learning about the mind, body and spirit has taken up much of my time recently. I like seeing videos like this that are getting more attention these days.
