Yeah I'm desperate. What can I say. I actually thought about creating an account...and then saw that it was like $75 for 3 months, and then I was like

So yeah figured I at least better check some reviews first to see if it was worth it.
The reviews are fucking oh so bad. Horrific. It's like nightmare after nightmare about how they constantly re-bill you, even after you've cancelled -- to the point that people have to outright cancel their credit cards to stop the automatic renewals (and this is, supposedly, after they had completed all of the necessary steps to cancel correctly). And then how many, many of the accounts on the site are fake accounts, how dudes will send out messages to like literally 250 chicks (lol) and get maybe 2 or 3 replies -- replies of which are either from Nigerian scammers (again lol) or morbidly obese trailer park chicks. Or a combination of both.
I mean for real, it was like literally an infinite number of these reviews claiming the same thing.
Sheesh, man. Glad I checked them out first.
On the Consumer Affairs website match.com gets the prestigious 1 star out of 5 rating.

Generally speaking, on the paid sites you are probably going to get less traffic and less members. But, you may get more people who are serious about finding a long-term relationship. So it depends on what you are looking for.

OKcupid isn't so bad. i have met some dates and some potentials on this one, and they even have an app for ease of use. it is free, but better if you buy a subscription.

I noticed people on POF are a lot better-looking. OkCupid is full of gross looking hipsters. Not the most attractive people.

i dunno if i would totally agree with that. i could say the same about POF, but i havent used it in ages. lately i've found some very attractive people on it, and you can even search by what you are looking for, body type and all.
does POF have an app? i like how okcupid matches you up based on the questions you answer.

POF does have an app, but it's really annoying and every time you get a notification or an inbox or a like it makes your phone vibrate and kills your phone's battery pretty quickly, so I never use the app.
The body type thing is such a farce. Because average-looking or even fat people always claim to be "athletic" for some reason. It's my pet peeve actually, seeing out of shape people always describe themselves as "athletic" on dating sites.

For the record, my friend uses all three of those. Not just tinder.

you use apple products right? or android? on my phone, i can set what kinds of notifications i get, how my phone handles them and all. i can even set them to silent and have the app either not run in the background, or only work off of wifi. i would assume that android users can do the same.
and yeah, i feel you. the women tend to put "curvy" a lot, whether they just have curves or are afraid to say they have a little extra. i guess it's kind of a perception thing. i put 'fit' because i am, but i'm more above average.

within the past 12 months they probably jogged once for a quarter mile before keeling over out of breath
so now they consider themselves "athletic"

At the time I installed the app several years ago, I had an android. I did turn off the sound on the app, but it still killed my phone's battery really quickly so I just deleted the whole thing altogether.
Yeah, for the men at least, they always put "athletic" even though they most of them are really just average or chubby.

I don't know who they think they are fooling, like brah. I CAN SEE YOU. People are going to go by your pictures, not by whatever body type you put in your descriptions.

Take some bitch with some extra junk on her. Throw your dick in her. Next thing you know your brain will be telling your dick that extra fat is the sweetest gift on earth. Your dick will agree and tell your brain the same thing and you'll be a happy dude totally in love with some cute fat chick who gives good head because she appreciates being made to feel like the incredible beauty she truly is. The only crunches she'll care about is Doritos. And you'll be all about the chubby belly. Win-win.
