Habitat: East Bay Area California. Shaded wood-chip mulch.
Gills: Light caramel getting darker as they dry. Intermediate narrowly attached gills.
Stem: 1-1.5". Narrow diameter < .25". White. Very clearly hollow when cut from the cap and examining the portion left on the cap. Clear blue bruising.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc. <1" diameter. Light caramel color (like coffee with *a lot* of milk in it). Some are very smooth can convex. Others are a little wavy around the edge and have a bump in the center.
Spore print color: Smoky purple spores
Bruising: Clear blue bruising

photos are pretty blurry and what is the spore color and how definitive is the bluing id say most likely psilocybe cyanescens or psilocybe azurescens its just odd cause in the photo i may be wrong cause it looks blurry but it seems there is some partial veil remnants left which is odd for cyans but im not a trusted identifier and im a new member so dont go by my word wait for a trusted identifier to chime in

Look active to me. Mostly (all?) Cyans. Can't see all the details on the smaller specimens and like natedawg said, not a TI. Nice work.

I would say from your location they would be Allenii or Cyanescens but can't say for sure, i would need a better photo of the cap, stem, etc.. Great find they're all relatively the same potency so just enjoy them man!

Tried to take better pictures. Not great natural light today and I'm struggling to light the foil well. Might be time to invest in a better camera.

I found these in the same spot the next day. They have the same description so just piggy-backing on this original post. I think the pictures of these are clearer too

Hard to tell from pics, but if thats blue staining that i see, then you got yourself some actives! My guess is cyans, but hard to know for sure due to dryness and photo quality.
