Anyone good at IDing dried shrooms?

I bought these a week ago but they didn't say the name and not knowing kinda worries me. We live in south California, if that matters.

Awesome! They still should work even though they are mainly stems ? I was surprised that it was so ground up when I got it

The base of the stem is the most potent part of a psilocybe. The fact that they are all crumbly might mean they have been knocking around for a while and not very fresh - so they may have lost some potency.

I dont think the base is more potent... The base may be the most dense part of the fruit body but the active compounds ratio is the same atleast from what ive read...
