Looking at the price for 650g, Paper pellets are much cheaper, 4 kg for $7.45. Both do the exact same job, and hold 80% water, clean etc.

Awesome, thanks. But this person, like several have diff tubs. I don't understand which method is correct/best for a monotub. I plan to put two mini monotubs in a bigger 60qt container. Should I just do sgfc for the big one? Then what's the method for the two mini tubs? Please clarify for me.

Dont use a plastic monotub. I like those 3 dollar styrofoam coolers. The sided have a greater surface area per square inch believe it or not. That helps equalize water and air and increases evaporation. Evap is a huge flower trigger

Damn, 10 bucks for a brick... go to petco or petsmart and they will have 3 bricks for that price. The manure looks like it will work, give it a shot! love to hear how it works. As far as type of monotub, keep it simple https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17332777/fpart/all/vc/1 A regular tub like that will work better than 2 smaller ones inside a SGFC, and require a whole lot less maintenance.

I get the eco earth brand from petsmart.
Also, I've been adding 2 quarts of manure to each brick of coir. Its amazing. You can just get the bagged stuff from Lowes or Homedepot or whatever.
Mix the coir and manure to field capacity and then pasteurize.
Let it cool then add 7 jars of spawn
Thats how ive been doin it
