I know this isnt a proper I.D request Just hoping someone could point me in thr right direction on what this could be possibly.

Interesting, this is the first time ive seen one of these. Had to take a picture. Assumed it was a crust fungi. Seemed to be eating on a couple turkey tails which was pretty cool

Michael Kuo writes "possibly associated with Stereum ostrea", so I'd assume your Turkeytails are "false" ones.

Yeah now that i think about it, those are the false turkey tail. I dont remember seeing pores on them. Havent really studied much on turkey tails just seen pictures. But thanks for that information. May have to go look for some real ones

Yup those are definitely Stereum, you can see where they split in a few places because of how thin they are.
