PRISON EXISTS BECAUSE CRIMINALS SHOULD NOT BE WANDERING FREE THEY WILL DO MORE BAD SHIT!
The 2 statements kind of conflict. If prison was a place that has wood shop and free math classes and career training or you could sit in your cell all day. When you were ready, you could choose your vocation then learn it and once you passes the morality and good person classes they`d give another shot in society. That would be much better. I am starting to think more like the lives have more value than I am assigning to them.
Pretty sure theirs billions in money that could be used in this manner lining the pockets of the fat cat billionaire fucking jail investors
in the land of the blind there's a king with one eye you fucking facist cunts. the king with one eye never stabbed anyone he only got stabbed. take your stab like a man and keep moving.
I don't understand the last part. Like everyone gets screwed here and there like with legal trouble just learn from it move on or are you referring to something else. Again

I'm guessing "czech" is a foreigner, as in, English is not his first language. Otherwise... WTF.

I also with they cut off hands of people who steal like Aladdin has made me believe the middle east is like. Public lashing would be nice too. A legal system that instead of sucking money from and creating criminals would cost very little money to enforce and make society better. But then try to take power and money away from the police That's why I mind my own business.
Extensive research has been done on this subject: harsher sentencing leads to more crime
Do we want vengeance or peace?
End prohibition and reform the (in)Justice system

Programs like these have been shown to reduce recidivism. The current modus operandi is to punish people into vengefulness, fine them into poverty and label them as felons to ostracize them socially (unable to attain work, housing, etc). Someone goes to prison for petty theft and comes out broke, spiteful and with even less opportunity to rise past the situation which drove them to theft in the first place. Our injustice system feeds crime with sterroids

Well this isnt my field so I dont have a comprehensive plan, but none of my ideas here are my own.
Ending prohibition is the biggest thing which could be done for many reasons Ending mandatory minimums and capital punishment Lawyers and police need to be educated on the newest research in criminal justice, and taught what really works on a larger scale, as well as how they can do good and work with people rather than simply dishing out punishment (especially prosecutors) Generally speaking the gov should change the way it runs to work with the latest research, rather than pandering to ideologies and ignorant constituents
Police need to be held accountable for their actions on a federal level, I dont assume police are guilty for everything they are accused of, but corruption is still widespread, they should be wearing body cams and charged for tampering with or disabling them, they should also be judged by jury with more insulation between them and internal investigations.
There are many issues and the corrupt government is doing almost nothing to addrsss any of them, at this point I think discussing these things and building interest is about all anyone can do. My ideas arent infallible, but you asked, so those are my thoughts off the hip.
