Old plate or bacteria?
    #23980116 - 01/03/17 09:54 PM (7 years, 27 days ago)

Have these pasty plates they have probably been growing for 4 weeks or so but the bottoms started turning colors. Would this have anything to do with it colonizing the entire top and working it's way down or is it bacterial

the agar is colonized with very small strands of filamentous mycelium that you cannot see. at this point, the culture has simply consumed the food coloring.
