Kratom Leaves Curled Downward and Slightly Yellow

Soil pH is at about 7. I've been watering pretty often. It's been in humidities of over 70% the whole time I've had it. In the beginning it was exposed to temps as low as 18°C but the past couple days it's been usually above 24°C. I haven't been using any fertilizer. It was rooted in rock wool, and the rock wool block was planted in fox farms ocean soil mixed with perlite. I haven't used any fertilizer so far.

How long have you had them in the fox farms? I haven't grown any kratom but my guess would be it's time for feeding.
From what I read they're pretty heavy feeders, so maybe look into that.
Good luck man. Hopefully you can get this under control.

Oh well then maybe the soil is too hot for it? I see some spots so maybe too much nitrogen? Again I'm not familiar with this particular plant.

I asked another Kratom farmer and he said it might have been due to nutrient deficiency when the cutting was growing through the rock wool. Does that sound plausible?

It's possible if the symptoms appeared while in rock whool. If the problem happened after putting it in the fox farms then I don't think that's the problem.
Next time you water I would give her a good flush and see what happens. Try to drain some of those nutrients out of the fox farms.
Kratom is supposed to be a heavy feeder but I've seen people get similar issues whengrowing cannabis in fox farms, sometimes it's too nutrient rich for the plants, can burn roots and cause lockouts.

Thanks! I don't know if this was here before and I hadn't made a note of it, but I think it may be new.

This edge burn is concerning. I can't tell if it's happening to the new leaves because they're too small. But I think I may be seeing a slight tip burn on them. What does this look like??? Thank you !

Looks like nutrient burn and possible nitrogen lock out.

Thanks! Sorry I'm new to gardening. So should I flush it with neutral pH water? Or should I adjust the pH to 5.5-6.5? And how much water should I put (I.e how long should the runoff last?) thanks!
If it were that case, how long until they stop burning?

Try to keep your pH levels where they need to be, so adjust accordingly Sorry kinda vague but idk the pH range for kratom.
When you do a flush you use about 2x amount of water vs your pot. So if your pot is a gallon, for example, water thoroughly with 2 gallons of water.
The idea is to wash excess nutrients and salts out of the soil.
The plant will start to improve after the nutrients aren't at a toxic level for the plant. The effected leaves will probably fall off so judge progress on your new growth.
One flush should be good enough to get the soil parameters where you need them, the soil shouldn't be extremely hot for kratom.
Maybe wait for some more input before doing this as I'm not familiar with kratom, just applying basic gardening to the situation so I could be wrong.

I try lots of different growing methods.
In my experience, rock wool, peat moss, sponges, coal, or whatever absorbent medium, can act in two, different ways.
It can draw water: to the plant away from the plant
Is it still attached to that wool, or is the perlite, etc, being kept nicely damp.
Another thing I notice, is we are typically focused on the stem and crown. What is happening, at the outer edges of the root system, most typically, located along the tree's drip line.
Is it pressing against the sides of the container, when it wants air.
In my unscientific opinion, the top is often mirroring the bottom. In other words, the leaves are dying, right at the edges of the pot.
I am finding that my container plants find a sort of equilibrium, where leaves die-off, to the degree, in which the roots can spread.
Nurseries counteract this, somewhat, through fertigation.
That's why you bring it home, do all the normal stuff, and it dies.
I am presently having excellent luck with compost tea, although it's barnyard-smelling and definitely-bacterial.
You don't want live with this stuff, unless there's some ventilation.

Maybe too much fertilizer. At least that's the problem with mine.
