God, I've heard some stupid fucking names in the last five years or so. One that sticks out to me is one of my cousin's: a little girl named "Person." Makes me wanna lick her mom in the taint.
Edit: Kick, obvs. That'll teach me to not skip proofreading when I post.

Blake is a pretty normal name where I'm from (USA). It's not overly common, but I think most people have known someone named Blake. It's even my middle name, given to me because it's a family name (see my first post in this thread for more on that subject). Given your otherwise unnecessary description of her, it sounds to me like you're not at all fond of your friend's son's mother, and you would be critical of any name she gave a child.

And hopefully if Crystal G has kids she will come to her senses, cause no kid with any of those names will grow up feeling normal
Let me guess, you probably have a basic name like Paul or Ryan or Scott, and you therefore have no imagination for names.
"Kids should be named whatever ethnicity they are," who named you the identity police?

No, my opinion is based on personal experience growing up, look at my quote from pages behind. When I first moved to the US I was still going by my original name and it was fucking up all my teachers and class mates so I had to normalize.

Nuentoter, Felix is a dope name imo

So what you're saying is that you conformed instead of choosing to tough it out, mmkay.
I have a unique name, I even have one of those American Gladiator names, my name gave me character and it's one of those things you appreciate once you're older. On my resume people who are interviewing me always comment how much they love my name.
Kids possibly being bullied is no reason to not give them a unique name, you could still name your kid Kate or Joseph and they could still end up being picked on for having curly hair or being too tall or being too smart.
As long as you aren't naming them Dung or Asshole or something that's obviously crude, there's nothing wrong with it.
PS I love the name Storm, though it's usually a girl's name, not a boy's name.

Well having a name from a different language that Americans are unable to pronounce is different from having the name of a futuristic 3D pixar cartoon character.
Morpheus would also be a fuckin corny name

Hey all! New to the site, still figuring out how to use the features, and this is one of the first threads that caught my eye. I think that names should be unique and timeless. Not new age to the extreme nor generic so that a child would have to be referred to as Joe H or Joe B etc.

Or. Maybe the parents were dyslexic and that's how they taught her to spell her name. They could of called her Ann...and taught her to spell it dkghro.
