I wish, 420chan deletes posts after they stop getting bumped.
Shroomery is nice in that it is a complete archive going allllll the way back, but i'll look for a screencap or something.
nah, can't find it.
here's some shower mushrooms though hahaha

i just poked holes on all sides of saran wrap aswell and used a little bit of tape on the inside to make the pencils stick to the walls of the saran wrap

cubensis333 said: Is my POOR MANS fruiting chamber sufficient? I am about to roll my 1/2pint cake in vermiculite and place in the homemade fruiting chamber.
What am I missing? This is my first grow so im not sure, and can use all tips on how I can improve this before i put the cake in.
Im trying to put the cake in the fc as soon as possible so anyone please tell me if my fc is good enough or needs somthing!
the saran wrap is taped securely and will be twisted shut, and only opened to mist/fan
also, i will be puitting this contraption in a small room with a ceiling light for the 12/12 light cycle
Cheers to your creativity! My guess is it will probably work with, as the other person said, some holes in the clear plastic on top. I don't think you need the top plastic to be as "tall" probably only need 4-5 inches above the plastic jug ... I think with a shorter plastic tent on top you'll maintain higher humidity levels.

thanks and yea i poked holes in the saran wrap, and will be twisting the top off only opening it to mist and fan. If i had the ceiling of the fc be the top of the pencils would that work or you recommend lower?
i can cave the top inward maybe to decrease space

I'd estimate the top of the plastic hood/tent should be about a foot higher than the surface of the perlite. Doesn't need to be any higher than that. That should help keep higher humidity levels in there which is the important part.
