I went mushroom picking in an area of scattered olive trees. I found these 4 types. 1:

2: I found these growing between decaying branches and grass but i forgot to take a habitat pic :P

3: The spore prints came out clear on white paper, prints could be white or something.. I just dont have any black paper so im guessing you'll have to guess?

4:

You guys have been really helpful and friendly, thanks again

So 3 didnt leave any spores because they're still too small? Also the gills where white thats why i thought they're a different species.

They could be more than one Psathyrella species, there are a lot of them and they are hard to identify most of the time. The different gill colors is due to different stages of maturity, as they mature the spores also mature and give the white gills a darker appearance to match the spore color. In this case they would of left dark brown to black spore prints. The 'spp.' stands for species (plural) while 'sp.' is a single species. I suspect they dried out too fast to leave a good spore print. Next time try using foil and then cover them with a glass, cup, plate or w/e else you have. That way they usually lave a good spore print if left at most overnight.

Ahhh allright, thanks i've been finding trouble learning what species would grow in my area and when is their faborite time, ive seen a link that gave me three types based on how close i am to israel but i still have trouble knowing when and where they're supposed to grow. The types are (appearently you gave me the link ): Gymnopilus junonius Inocybe tricolor (Many deadly look-alikes, Inocybes are not recommended for hunting) Panaeolus fimicola How can i research when and where they grow? Should i just buy a book? Have a good day

Just so you know, that link can be found at the bottom of every single MH&I thread. Look for 'Which Mushrooms Grow Wild in My Area?', I guess it can be easy to miss.
https://www.shroomery.org/8461/Which-mushrooms-grow-wild-in-my-area
As for the list in Israel, I would also consider other Gymnopilus spp. and Panaeolus cinctulus. There is also the possibility there could be other species that have not been documented / added to the list. If you find anything new please let us know so it can be added. Personally I would be looking for edible / interesting species in the cedar forests rather than looking for psychoactive species.

Fair enough, I guess you can wait till the snow melts, it'll probably be really nice then!
