Fruiting broken up BRF cake inside "bulk" oatmeal?

Hey everyone, I know that there have been other threads about oatmeal on this site in the past, but after extensive research, I still could not find anyone quite in the same situation as I. So I recently inoculated my very first ever batch of BRF cakes using the famed PF Tek. Sadly however, I am absolute SHIT at using a needle and my uncoordinated self ended up using ALL 10 mL of spore solution on just 5 1/2 pint jars. One of these only ended up being inoculated in one hole and therefore only colonized about half way before seemingly stopping. In an attempt to save this particular jar, I decided to birth it, wash off all the uncolonized substrate, and move it into an empty plastic milk jug with a new bulk substrate. I didnt have much on hand so what I did is I filled a pot with 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup water and 2 cups verm. I cooked it over the stove for a short while to (hopefully) sterilize it and then I broke the BRF cake into tiny pieces and mixed it all together in the jug. After that I cased the whole thing in dry verm and I am now misting regularly. Can I expect to get anything out of this? Is there anything I should change, lest the mycelium die out before fruiting? Thanks to all helpers in advance!

Why did you do this. Your just asking for contam with oatmeal. Bulk subs should contain little to no nukes. Your cake stop colonizing because of contamed problems. I'd bet 10 to 1 ods you contaminated way before you fruit pops up.

Hmm, that is rather unfortunate. I suppose I learned my lesson and next time I will be patient with ordering better material fir substrate rather than just using what I have. I suppose then that if I do attempt to fruit this jug, I should find a way to quarantine it from the other regular jars?

I think he would be fucked even with little nukes. I know what you meant tump and I'm sure the OP does as well but I got a pretty good chuckle when I read that. Thanks!!

In your opinion, what would be the best course of action? Should I toss this experiment or attempt to fruit it? I have added small amounts of peroxide to the water I am using to mist it so as to better fight off any potential contamination. The mycelium was pure white and had no bad odor when I birthed it this morning...
