Thanks I've been enjoying all the December food and drink. Now it's time for "dry out January". No alcohol or sugar for me at least 30 days. I made it 90 days last year. Going to get in super deluxe good shape this year.
I like your ride man. Looks clean.

How far do you take no sugar? Like, no bread or fruit either?

I don't eat grains at all 11 months out of the year so no bread. The primal diet. I just give in during the holidays and enjoy everything.
Last year I didn't even eat fruit for the 30 days and it was tough so I added some fruit for the following 60 days. This year I'll do some oranges and berries to have energy for working out. I like those little cuties mini oranges.
The one thing that I can lean on as snack is cheese. At that point my body is burning fats for energy so a little cheese doesn't hurt things. I live in a small dairy farm town so the cheese game is strong here.

I don't think I could ever give up cheese. It's too good.

Iced coffee or green tea before the gym 630am Sugar free protein shake when I get home 830am 2 to 4 hard boiled eggs 10am 2 to 4 cutie oranges 1130am Serving of a meat and veggie mix. 1230-1pm Ex Ground turkey, chard, zucchini, garlic, onion Pistachio or almond snack 3pm Another serving of the same meat and veggie mix. 430pm At least 1 pound of meat/fish with veggie. 730pm Steak and broccoli. Sometimes just meat. Bacon cheeseburger with no bun.
They make stevia sweetened chocolate if I have crazy craving for something. When I reach my fitness goals I start having a cheat meal once a week that I don't always use. If I do it is when I go out to eat somewhere nice. San Francisco sour dough bread at a high end restaurant is like crack.
Once you get past around 2 weeks give or take staying away from sugar is pretty easy. I stay away from anything high on the glycemic index. No legumes, corn or even potatoes.
I think YogaBunny did no sugar at some point last year. I may be thinking of another hawt n healthy yoga girl I met in Cali though.

Happy new year, everyone! Hope everyone was safe with themselves and with their substances.
I got snowed in NYE and yesterday, so I decided to celebrate today with a little hike. 5 miles, in the snow, uphill both ways, as our grandparents would say.

Original plan was to hike/climb Blackhawk Mtn and ski one of the flumes back down, but not enough time today. Soon...

It's therapeutic, to say the least.
Fun as fuck is more accurate.

Haven't been active much on here lately. Life has been all sorts of ways.
Here I am making some Fry Bread with a friend.
