Mushroom IDying (growing near p. cubensis)
    #23967476 - 12/30/16 08:22 AM (7 years, 1 month ago)

Hi!
Today I went hunting for p. cubensis in a pasture nearby. Along them, I found these little guys. At first I thought they might be p. cyanescens, but doesn't seem like upon further inspection (Pics at the bottom).

Habitat:
Growing on cow dung (somewhat "older" dung than that where I found cubensis).
I live in southern Brazil.

Gills:
Gills are light beije/brown, not attached, and seem to be darker on the edges, like burn marks.

Stem:
Stem is long and thin, between 2 to 5 centimeters(0.7 to 1.9in), very thin (around 2mm), white and fibrous, hollow and break very easily.

Cap:
cap is 2cm (0.7in) in diameter, light brown and more golden/orange at the top/middle, texture of the cap kinda follows the gills below(look at pics), conical and concave.

Spore print color:
On the making, will update this as soon as they're done

Bruising:
Mushroom does not bruise

Other information:

Thanks in advance! :p

Conocybe, something along the lines of C. apala, C. albipes, C. lactea, etc... The taxonomy is confused and there are more than one of those.

Thank you! I was wondering if they were psychoactive. In time, the spore print is out and is a light/reddish brown, which corroborates as conocybe. Still got plenty of p. cubensis, so I'm happy

No, they are not. Don't eat Conocybe species, some may contain amatoxins. Potentially not the right ones to harm someone if consumed, but still...
