The problem with millennials. Here's a great explaination
    #23967465 - 12/30/16 08:11 AM (7 years, 1 month ago)

This video sums it all up. Take the time. It's worth it.

Thoughts?

for those of us who can't access videos, would you be willing to hit the high points?

i don't know if it pertains only to millenials, as i've seen it in middle-aged (30-45 year olds) that are or have in the past received copious amounts of social welfare monies, but the overall feeling of entitlement/deserving for being is one of the USA's, if not any first/second world nation

It is. But theres nothing we can do with it except instill values on an individual basis. The parents that let their kids have smart phones and facebooks at a young age are destroying their kids chances early on to become social butterflies, but luckily they aren't at a severe disadvantage because theres millions just like them. Hopefully evolution will come into play and integrate technology in with our social skills.

it's not whether the video works or not, it's that i can't access them.  bandwidth is being shared by others, and i'm torrenting on top of that, and when i get home, where i use internet, i can't watch videos without being obligated to pay for them.

We also have a spiritually empty culture of single moms and absent fathers that scoffs at any tradition besides Christmas, such as the family and marriage, despite their importance.

Personally I can't stand staunch materialists. I don't even want to know you of you trip and rationalize it as some chemical process because you took a class.

I absolutely hate the preferances of reductionism in every aspect of life. It's great for experiments, data, but atheism and science tend toward nhialism without a proper philosophical or spiritual base.
Sadly, we don't have that. We lack wisdom

In summary, my generation is a bunch of nearly autistics with failure parents that would have done better breathing exhaust fumes in a garage then procreating

he states that the dependence on seeking approval from our peers through social
media and other outlets is what is destructive, that it's preventing us from
forming actual relationships with people

Yup. You're in the best position to either confirm or deny that because you've lived in the pre-digital world and in the digital world.

Is he correct in your opinion?

The problem with Millennials is crotchety old fucks that can't stop complaining about people 1/5 their age.

Shut the fuck up and die already you grumpy old fucks. Your nursing homes are taking up valuable space we could be using to build VR playgrounds and drone landing pads and shit.
