Listen to the song I wrote about tripping

Here's a song I wrote and recorded a decade ago. I've never been a song writer or a singer, but this thing just poured out of me in about 15 minutes. I picked up my acoustic, hit record and captured the moment.
I wrote it about a time when I was 19-20. I had a girlfriend for about 3 years and we had broken up. I went away to college and you know how that goes.. I was still in love with her but I kept it inside. We hadn't spoken for a long time. I kept thinking that I should trip one night and devote my thoughts to working up the courage to call her. That's what the song is about. As I look back at the lyrics, every line is from some trippy thought I mulled over repeatedly in my life. Somehow I made them rhyme.
Please listen to my song. Lyrics are below. I'm a big WEEN fan, so I decided to give it that dropped pitch sound like you hear on some of their songs.

tomorrow will be the day I call you I am the man from hell And I ring a bell Don’t tempt me today I might go away
There was no warning sign Before I lost my mind The old man knew too soon The face on the moon
There’s never a time that’s good So I went ahead anyway It’ll be a long trip tonight But tomorrow I’ll make it right And tomorrow will be the day I call you There’s never any time To deal with the kind Sometimes I choke And I tell the same joke
I got ready to go I saw the flower grow But no one found the time To notice you were mine
After the train left And the old man went deaf The track took me back And I slipped through a crack
I’m tired of the toll Memories of the smell of coal The biggest of the small The never ending wall

Wow that was really cool man! I love the lyrics and melody
Did you use like a pitch effect on your voice? Or thats your natural voice?
Either way, very very cool song and you can feel like the wisdom behind the words. Love is a heavy subject, but it feels like the lyrics come from a place of knowing.

I recorded guitar on 7 g of shrooms and I was mostly just thumping one note over and over again.
