Just an hour a day keeps happiness away. Please delete your facebook. You'll be a happier person for it!

It seems it's actually the content that's supposedly making teens miserable, as opposed to the sites.
Not to brand every teen with the same brush, but many will be subject to people trying to 'out-bro' each other with swearing, sarcasm and trying to impose envy with their new trainers that look like space boots. Generally who's best and more angry.
Others who choose their interests and 'friends' more selectively, will have an altogether more different experience.
Admittedly, when I last looked at Instragram it looked like a digital Soddom and Facebook hasn't even been a favourite since it just looks like a bland, corporate news site, overcomplicated and unnecessary layout and function.
I'm finding myself on Twitter now and again. I mostly view scenic pictures and food which raises feel-good.

Facebook used to be about the friends. Now its just memes and inspirational quotes. I have no idea what the point of it all is. Just another means to pass the time I guess.

Is shroomery social media?
--------------------
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Been about 5 months for me.
I've deleted it before but this time it's for good. It takes up a lot of time.
I suggest learning a language or learning bjj.

Facebook used to have a lot more value for me. I've wasted too much time there. Used to be friends, then started using it for following artists and finding events, shifting through different phases throughout time like humor pages or news whatever. Right now my facebook is 10% friend posts and the rest inspirational shit, food/vegan stuff, and life coaches. I just have hella videos people post of themselves every day that are inspiring and revitalizing to watch but like everything else it depreciates in value over time. I found deleting it from my phone was wonderful because that's where i used it the most.

yes. however, the number of people using it, and using it for a purpose beyond bullshitting is far smaller than that of facebook/twitter/whateverthefuck

I'm so much happier without facebook!
I had to use it for a few days in between phones, and I kinda felt dirty.

It eliminates natural social cues, so drama happens easily. It also gets you in the dopamine loop
