Yeah dynamic pricing would never happen I'm sure.
I'm such a cheap ass though. I really think they need to rethink how they get their product out there.
I have fight pass, and I paid for UFC 205. I should have been able to see every fight that night. But I missed the prelims that aired on FS1. Khabib v MJ & Frankie Edgar v Jeremy Stevens was blacked out for me. I was able to see the earlier prelims and the main card, but nothing in the middle.
I'm sure it has to do with some kind of deal they have with fox, but they should renegotiate those terms. With football, hockey, baseball, and basketball, when you buy the streaming service, you get access to every single game. Whether it's on fox or NBC or not on tv at all. The UFC should be able to reach the same agreement.
I don't want to give fox money, I don't want to give Comcast money. But I'm willing to pay the UFC for the content.
Enough of my bitching.
Stefan Struve v JDS just announced. Has the skyscraper developed enough since their first meeting to make it a challenge? Or will he be smashed?

So the lovely Paige got choked up by the Karate Hottie (both chicks are adorable, I would love to try my ground game against them lol).
My man Sage got choked - and he was doing OK, but needs work on TD defense, and all around ground game. I liked seeing his attitude come out finally, and some guys that ruins (or makes) their game once they go "red". However I think he was starting to enjoy the stand up timing, he just got clipped. I think he was sort of close to START to finish Mickey Gall, but getting tagged behind the ear was the end of his rally.
Uriah *I* think was fed a easier guy for his finale, to def go out on a win, but I've watched CaliKid foreverrrr. Like from HDNET days. So he HAD to enter the HOF as a win.
Bam Bam took a loss (I was kind of hoping him AND Sage Nurfcoot would of won for a potential rematch since Sage had Strep right before those two fought).
All and all, UFC on Fox was entertaining. The word trade between Dom and Cody was funny even though 90% was bleeped out though. I think Cruz will wreck him on the next PPV for sure.

I agree Cruz takes it.
Once I found out waterson was apart of Greg jackson's team, I figured it was all over for PVZ. I have a ton faith in their fighters down there.
They really should retire California love as a walk out song. I heard talk about it last night. It would be fitting as fuck since there no number to retire for people.

Yea Sage gave up size and reach, as a striker, to fight a guy in a weight class above him. I was surprised that Gall (gracie blackbelt I believe) couldn't do much (damage-wise) on the ground until after he clipped him with that check hook and exploited that desperate double leg attempt. Gall also looked shaky with his standup.
Its clear that Sage has an exploitable ground game, and until he cleans that up, he wont find any success in MMA.

I'm not keen on dynamic pricing as I think the UFC would use it simply to inflate the price of cards like UFC 200 or anything McGregor is on.
That being said, I think it's lame that UFC 207 is only four fights. Just add one of the prelims. They do this semi-frequently. I guess the UFC thinks that we all are salivating for the Rousey return so badly that we'll pay more for less of a product.
Unless they just haven't done it yet.

They hadn't done it yet. Added Louis Smolka vs. Ray Borg.
I'm not confident I will ever be able to mentally erase awful the promo from Louis Smolka vs. Paddy Holohan. Smolka was saying that fight would be talked about for generations to come by people's grandkids. Did anyone else here even watch it?

So who do y'all want to lose the most tomorrow?
My interest in the card was reduced a bit with the Werdum vs. Velasquez fight being called off for the third or fourth time. Is Velasquez not one of the most disappointing fighters in MMA? He was touted as the greatest heavyweight with both of his losses having an injury asterisk in the MMA media's eyes.
A healthy/"sea-level" Cain Velasquez is untouchable, they say.
Too bad a healthy Cain doesn't seem to exist. He either trains like a buffoon or his body just can't withstand MMA anymore.

I really disliked seeing that fight get dropped. But I halfway expected it so I wasn't heart broken. At this point I would have been surprised if they actually fought.
American kickboxing academy, AKA, has been building this reputation for injuring their fighters before a fight. So anytime you see someone from there on a card, don't hold your breath.
I want garbrandt to win, but don't think he will. Cruz is really really good. Cody is too, but there's levels to this shit.
I want Nunez to win. You can't count rousey out, so this one is up in the air for who I think will actually win.
I want cowboy to win.
I want Hendricks to win.

I'm in for the Ronduh face smashing that Nunez has wrapped up as a late X-mas gift to deliver.
I think losing Mike Goldberg is more of a real "loss" than if Rowdy loses.
Cain vs. Weirdo was my "main" real matchup. It's SO hard for me to get amped about women's MMA. I like watching Cyborg, and Gabi Gonzaga, and PvZ vs Karate Hottie was legit, but unless they are pretty, or a beast (most fall in the middle) I can't get behind the women's weight classes.
Did anyone watch the Rizin World GP? King Mo got beat by Mirko. Dying to see the Mirko vs Wandy match up (if it happens).
Rizin reply/screening (on the 31st, at 1am EST I think?!) is here: http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2016/12/28/14108212/rizin-live-stream-discussion-play-by-play-openweight-grand-prix-2nd-round
You can reply the first half of the World GP (2nd half will air on the 31st) - and gottttdamn Rizin sure puts on one hell of a fucking display. I hope to go, even over the 2 UFC events I've been to.

I've never been a huge Hendricks fan but I recently met one of his cousins. Nice gal. Would like to see him win now. Funny how having even a twinge of personal touch can make it seem like you've got a horse in the race.
Dude seems like he's in a competition with Kelvin Gastelum for being the king of weight issues.

Agreed. I haven't read what the reasons are behind this, but I think he has been the true voice of the Octagon, more than Buffer and Rogan.

Agreed, but for what it's worth, Cruz is good but well-deserving of the nickname "Decisionator." He just seems concerned with outpointing people, often by relatively narrow margins. I still kinda think TJ Dillashaw won that fight.

Agreed. I am so fucking sick of the Ronda Rousey persona and how the media gets almost completely retarded for her. Would it be too good to be true for a New Years miracle armbar win for Nunes?

I say I don't like giving predictions, but I always end up making them.
Nunez wins by third round rear naked choke hold.
Cruz by decision.

I believe this is a link to stream the RIZIN show tonite.
It starts right after UFC 207 they say.
I got a few joint rolled up, and got all my snacks I need. Plus a lil whiskey.
I'm planning on dosing in a lil bit to start New Years early. Hopefully I'm passed the peak when the fights start up.
