Does anyone have an opinion on the boiling temperature? I'm not asking the question of what temperature does water boil at, I'm asking how hot can I get this slimy green shit without burning off the active ingredients.
There's always been a bunch of back and forth, one time I burned the juice because the pot I had was a cheap piece of crap. It tasted so bad I threw it away. Now I'm an adult! With better cookware! How hot can I get this stuff?

It's a bust. Like 2 hours in and nothing. If by some stroke of slut magic it kicks in I will let you know. Otherwise I'm chocking it up in the loss column and going for Thai food to make it a tie. Boom!

People think you can process the shit out of a living cactus and the effect will be the same as eating the live plant. What a joke. Maximum effect will always be to just eat the plant. A lot of pachanoi is weak, even if yellow and old. Bridgesii is always good.

Oh man you're a genius thanks so much for swooping in way late in the game and pointing out the failure. Douchebag. You must be fun to hang around with. On a side note how exactly should I have consumed the entire plant? Shove all 40 pounds of it up my ass? Bridgesii always works? So the countless times others have had fun with pachanoi are all lies? Good times thanks for the heads up genius. Maybe if you said any of this two days ago I wouldn't think you're a complete ass.

Hey gRay Fox, would you like to point out that the Thai food gave me diarrhea now that I've eaten it? You know, wait until after I go there, order it, take it home, eat it, watch TV, go to sleep, wake up with horrible intestinal cramping. Would you like to tell me that all Thai food gives you diarrhea that's why you suggest Chinese food? Do you see the similarity to your previous post? You're the reason I waited for years before interacting on here. I just knew as soon as I posted anything. When all was said and done someone would come along with your intellect and reign your genius down upon me. You're kind of a piece of crap. Thanks buddy.

Hi Steveinshell. Kudos for taking us through all the steps of preparation. Good thread anyway. Guess its always a gamble and I can relate to how you feel ripped off. I've done it with T.cuzcoensis and thought afterwards why would I drink shit that tastes so bad to get no effect.
But next time who knows you might get blasted. I stepped up my dosage after having weak ones and then when a good one came along it was so worthwhile.
There are good pachanoi around. In my limited experience I like their vibe because the one I tried end of November was much more up and speedy than bridgesii.
Hope you get a good one next and thanks for the thread.

Steveinshell the cactus didnt work, but i can see that your estrogen kicked in real strong. Yeah next time just shove a big piece of cactus up your ass because thats how it works. And take a bunch of photos. And keep everyone posted on the progress.
Everything i said in my above post was completely accurate. Dont learn from it or appreciate it. You seem real good at that.

eating it simply isn't always practical, i'd say most people have a harder time eating it raw than drinking it, I mean the original san pedro shamans in peru made it into a tea, and i think they knew what they were doing. Yeah the potency varies a lot with pachanoi, but i'd be suprised if op felt nothing at all from drinking that whole thing. They say that mescalin is super heat resistant and can withstand any temperturebut to be on the safe side tho I would just let it simmer.

Thanks for the input I'm going to keep an eye out for bridgesii not something I've come across often. One time I did and it was great. I've had pachanoi work great long long ago. Been years.
I definitely had some effects but absolutely not like a strong mescaline trip. Just elevated energy and according to gray fox my period started.
I have 3 cactus worth of nasty juice left. Maybe I reduce it and try it all at once. Maybe I flush it down the toilet.
Think I'm going to simmer all day and maybe try a triple dose tonight.

Ipa extraction is where you dry the cactus grind into powder and mix it with 91 percent iso propyl alchohol in a glass mason jar and shake hardcore for like 2- 3 days then decant the dark green alchohol alcohol and evaporate that in a tray to yield a tar or basically a dry gunk ball and eat that sucker and trip balls
If you use the search engine on here you can find a actual detailed tek on it, its extremely simple

That does seem like a very simple technique. Here I have been all these years drinking this nasty sh!T next time won't be far away so maybe I'll try this next time. I'll do research. Maybe going to try a/b extraction of some Peruvian torch.

Go for the triple dose! Or you could evap it all and get a tar or resin and eat that, much easier lol I've never drank the tea but the tar balls are insanely bitter so i could only imagine the taste of the tea , I've also tasted a fresh cactus star and it wasn't to bad but still really bitter, acid base extraction will yield you a much purer product but not as simple as the alchohol extraction tek

I'm curious how did this all play out? What was your experience? How much did you take?

Triple the dose worked great. Next time 6 feet and proper extraction would be great for two people.

Glad to hear it worked that time!! Sucks how variable mescaline can be compared to like a sheet of acid , It's such a toss up in the air on whether not itll be to strong or to weak

Why are you dosing again, I know an expert like you is aware there will be tolerance issues after tripping only 1-2 days later...but you clearly don't want help.

Mandrin. Totally understand your concern I was pretty out of it and didn't explain myself. Next time will be in a month or so. I don't like to over do it with any hallucinogen it's never benefited be to stack up doses. My first round did nothing, second round went amazing. Third round will be next time I have a free weekend which is super rare. Thanks though I hear you.
