Amanita muscaria var. persicina .... pscycoactive or edible?

These are 5 different, of what i believe to be Amanita muscaria var. persicina , mushrooms that i have found the past few weeks in south east texas. I cannot find a clear answer to whether or not these are psychoactive and not highly poisonous like amanita pantherina or just edible and not psycoactive at all. Can anyone help me out here?

Well I'll go ahead and suggest they aren't deadly poisonous but it'd help to get a confirm ID if anything. Then, they may be either mildly psychoactive (try a good dose) or just edible and not active at all. They probably taste good. Wait and see they aren't deadly but I personally doubt they are.

I would agree with the ID Amanita muscaria var. persicina, they are poisonous if not prepared correctly.

I wouldn't eat any Amanita species, it's not worth your kidneys, beautiful mushy though no doubt.

i wouldnt eat any amanita that doesnt have obvious red colouring, there are other amanitas that you can eat but they can be mis-identified.

you're thinking of orellanine, the toxin found in certain cortinarius.
amanitas have a number of toxins. the famous amatoxin is a liver poison but all the amanitas with amatoxin are quite distinct. I find it interesting that most people who are afraid of amanitas can't actually sort out a destroying angel from a blusher, but only because they REFUSE to see the difference. It's not actually difficult if you give yourself permission.
some of my favorite eating mushrooms are Amanitas, from the Rubescens and vaginata groups. They are fine to eat when simply cooked but the blushers are hemotoxic when raw (no different from rhubarb). As I'm adventurous, and a bold mushroom hunter, I also eat all the Flavorubescens type things I find.
Muscaria group mushrooms are perfectly fine once leached. I do them in big batches and freeze for later.

They look like the Amanita Muscaria var Persicina I pick in South Georgia. I've eaten them dried and raw. They seem to work better dried, but they don't produce a hallucinogenic trip just a sedative and mellow high for several hours. Kind of like a low dose xanny.
