Sorry for hijacking the post your picture thread, and thanks for all the help here
I'll have to try this BRF LC. Do you have ratio? 5 grams to 100mL sound good?

Sounds like some of you guys spend a lot of time worrying about things that you don't need to worry about, like sediment in your LC. Like, isn't the myc supposed to eat that shit?
You guys know I'm just playin

It's different with agar and LC. With agar all the growth happens on the surface so sediment doesn't matter. With LC I like to start out clear so I know the second it looks the least bit cloudy that bacteria has gotten in.

Completely agree. It's what drove me to figure out a method where no matter what media I used and no matter what concentration, my LC is always crystal clear.

Ya man I'm just fucking around.
But in all seriousness, I thought the common consensus was that you cannot see contamination inside of LC, even bacteria?
Speaking of LC contams and bacteria, whatever happened to camplo?

Yes. That's usually a good sign. But I would rather run clear from the start rather than guess.
Edit: by go cloudy I mean it was cloudy coming out of the PC. I never had it come out clear, go cloudy, then clear again.

There's no way of looking at an LC and knowing it's clean but it's quite possible to look at an LC and know it's contaminated.

remember, this genus is actually recommended you use LI and you include pins because they contain fruiting hormones that will improve yield. at least thats what stamets said! could be outdated by now, idk... check the edible forums lol

That thing is super sexy. If that's the case, you should drop that whole plate in a blenderless and noc up a few qts See how that mother fucker gets it done!
