Looks like i have 4 jars started so far. Just little specs. But its something. Still waiting on the other 4 jars. And one out of the other 4, looks like my dry verm layer got wet on it so idk if it will germ or not. Anyways. Thanks guys for all your help. I plan on logging this whole grow here.

7 out of my 8 jars have mycelium growth so far. I think the last jar is a little water logged.

Guys i got a question. So my tit. At the bottom of it the temp is about 78-79 but at the top of my jars the temp is 75. I was just wondering if these different temps would cause them not to incubate as fast. Or maybe i should flip my jars over when they are done colonizing at the top. Any help would be great.

Leave them alone the temps are fine, it is warmer inside the jar than it is outside the jar. Keep it up

Thanks brother. And one more question. I have noticed with most people's grow with pftek. That the shrooms tend to grow out of the bottow(witch would be the top of the jars since you typically flip them over in the sgfc) would it help if i slipped my jars half way through colonization to prevent that amd make them grow from the top. Sorry if this is a noob question

1. you are not supposed to flip the cakes after birthing them. the dry very layer side always stays on top.
2. fruits from the bottom of the cakes are typically a result of people using the wrong, tall jars, instead of the correct short and wide jars. either that or their FC isn't built correctly, so only good fruiting conditions end up occurring between the cake and whatever its sitting on. if you follow the tek and don't deviate then you won't have these issues.
3. flipping your cakes will only cause fruits to abort. it certainly won't help anything.

Well got locked out of my other account when i got a new phone. So anyways, i inculcated on the 26th. 15 days ago. I have maybe 3-4 jars half way colonized. I cant figure out how some of these guys on here get full colonization after 10 days. Seems like im doing something wrong. But the mycelium is doing well. I talk to the jars once or twice a day. I couldent resist cracking a jar and giving it a smell. Smelled earth, and not quite like the mushrooms i eat from. But remanisint of them. Thanks for your patience with me. And when the sun comes up ill post some more pictures.(not that any of yall have seen a colonizing jar b4 lol)

Hey man you have a decent idea going, but you need to read. Im brand new also, and I read way more than I thought I would before I started
THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE AS A NEWBIE.
1. Follow the TEK. 2. Read all you can, some information might seem repetitive, its like that for a reason.... Follow it. 3. Patience... It takes time. Like mushboy said. Takes about a 7-10 days for things to start popping.. Use the time to read. 4. Research logs and teks of people who are trusted cultivators. Since I started in December I have followed a few logs and asked for help a few times. I mainly read, its kinda annoying for a newbie to ask a question you can easily find by following a tek or just reading. However if there is something you cant find or what not ask it here. AMU Q&A
Good luck man, ill be looking out for your grows. As I said im so new its not funny. But I read and reread and keep trying to advance my knowledge.
