I feel fake when I'm acting, I prefer to remain true in every aspect. It goes against the fiber of my being to act what i'm not to "fit in" so much so, the times I did involve myself in society I let the true me shine, I didn't put a mask on, some people thought I was weird, some loved me, I don't care. I will never restrict myself by any means.
If I want to make a movie I will act, not act through the movie of life

The monks of the two halls gave equal shouts, but guest and host were obvious. The play of the true self being true to itself, another great illusion, a fan favorite of mine.

A fractal of illusions within the big grandiose illusion.

Yes, Everything looks real to the babes, but intellectually fabricated phenomena and their attributes, all derived from karmic propensities, cannot be held to be real; free of perceptual duality that reifies things as 'this' or 'that', we know it all as inexpressible, boundless openness.
When we verbally indicate a thing as 'this' or 'that', our words, like rabbits' horns, are hollow names, mere fictive imputation upon what does not exist: we recognize all things now as rootless and empty. What is merely conceptually designated is nonexistent; imputed by karmic propensity it is absent yet apparent; and lacking an object the subject expires so there is no perceptual duality: it is all unspeakable, unimaginable and utterly open. Since no one can indicate with certainty, what 'it' really is, we call it apparition (like a magical illusion), timelessly without substance or essence.
Even then we cannot be any place else, so we act with or without feeling fake and still are only true when everything is a lie to begin with, not to mention it adds a spice to life. yet still, I know what you mean but from that point of view which is still limiting at the end of the day what can we do but lay with our own sisters and slay our own brothers? Whatever gets your ghost .

I agree with this, which is why I don't get along with some people because they view me as harsh, not because I am trying to be rude in anyway, but I just speak my mind. I spoke with a Mormon I was working with one day, and he was trying to get my heathen ass to come to some huge Mormon event, anyway I let him know my beliefs about god, and he got offended, I never said a thing about what he believed, or that he was wrong, I wouldn't go so far as to say someone was wrong for their beliefs, but I will, in great detail, explain why I cannot believe in what many people put their faith in, and I think by doing so, some people take it as I am trying to insult their decision to follow what they follow.

Well I meant the culture part will be an act. I'll be me, I mean, otherwise you get this anxiety, plus most people see through acts.
