Beautiful; Crazy how you got such different morphologies from the same culture...if I’m reading that correctly.

That second conk was very actively growing that is why it looks different. The first one spored out and used all the moisture. The 2 are the same culture. Unfortunately the one still growing got water build up on it and ruined it.

That FC looks dialed in just right for those species- we'll done mate! Awesome fruits! And cordyceps! I'm jelly- ive got a culture I intend to mess around with sometime here soon but honestly I dont know my way around them yet. Most of the info is trade secret or pay to play on it- which is fine- but I have more pressing investments to attend to, lol, and I have some ideas of my own.

those are adorable...
I'm surprised the G. frondosa fruited. If I remember, it's tricky to fruit...
Come to think of it, does all the fruiting signify your temps weren't cool enough?

The slants are on the door of my beer fridge. I just checked, their temp is 4C / 39F. That seems okay and everything recovered. I've never had trouble fruiting the maitake, it's a 2012 culture from fungi perfecti dowels.
