If you find any Infundibulicybe geotropa (I know it as Clitocybe geotropa), let me know. I managed to find some a while back by mistake, not managed to find it again.
The ones I found where huge, probably had 20cm caps too.

Thanks Myco! I was reading on the forums that most of the time when you order elm oyster it's actually another type of oyster. Any chance you can ID if this is elm or another ?

When talking about wild mushrooms elm oyster is Hypsizigus ulmarius. Most of the "elm oyster" that is cultivated/traded is a Pleurotus sp. If you do a google image search for elm oyster you see a 50/50 mix of pictures of two distinct species of mushroom. Your's are Pleurotus.

Any suggestions on what I can do with these two fully colonized quarts of oyster on rye berries? They were grain to grain transferred on 9/16 and then shaken on 9/20. Fully colonized a few days later. Looks like they might be a pain to get out of the jar.
I've never grown edibles before and I think a lot of people suggest growing outdoors, but the outdoor temperatures are dropping fast. I saw one guy post that he had a little bit of luck in a CVG shoe box. I don't care about large yields, just want the experience and to not waste the jars.

Team Tomentose, I like that. The left jar looks like it's trying to fruit already. Can't really say what to do with 100% grain, spawn. You could try casing it with whatever space you have left, and then top fruit it, since side fruiting isn't possible.
The other thing is, performance and taste seem to lack with 100% grain, it dries out quite fast. There are also a few other factors that make 100% grain not suitable for fruiting.

Cool, maybe I'll case one jar and throw the other in a CVG shoe box and see what happens.
To confirm - just add 1/2" of vermiculite to the top of the jar for casing?
P.s. If you like Team Tomentose feel free to join

You could spawn it to straw buckets or bags, and then fruit from there or use the colonized straw as spawn for outdoor bed of straw or lignocelulosic material.
If you don't want to complicate things, you could remove the lids of the jars, cover with a little sheet of plastic or film and secure with rubber band (to avoid the mycelium to drying out), make a X slit of hole and lay on their sides to make side fruiting
