Ziran are you fruiting those Eryngii out in the open? If so I may try my hand at it. I have a ton of grain spawn I was getting ready to start a big grow but decided to use my greenhouse for piopinni.

Yes sir. I just cased them in coir to help with keeping the surface conditions up to par. That room is dry as fuck. I have to mist them atleast once a day or they get cracked. (I missed a few days here and there that's how I found that out) But I prefer to mist them 2-3 times. I bet If I ran a small humidifier in that room it would help a lot. Just to keep the RH up a bit higher.

Kings are still kicking. Monster weighed 1 pound even. The second was only 7 ounces.

PoHu Oysters on pine straw. This was part of my very first shot at cold pasturizing with no ph testing. Pretty sure I didn't get it right but got 7.7 oz first flush from an 88.9 oz bag.

I have PoHu Oyster, Pheonix Oyster, King Oyster and Mediterranean Oyster all growing on primarily pine straw mixed with a little hardwood leaves. All cold pasteurized with wood ash.
My first attempts are fruiting but I'm sure the sub is probably going bacterial forcing them to fruit before fully colonizing the bags. My other bags are trucking along but they taking some time to colonize. Not sure yet if it's because the pine straw is tougher or because I didn't get it chopped small enough.
